Cambridgeshire DTL Cambridge Gun Club 4th & 5th April 2015
Well it finally arrived; the start of another year to the Cambridgeshire County Championships, and what a start we had. Two days to sort out the champion for the DTL this year, a little windy to start with on the Saturday, but some still put good scores in to give the Sunday shooters a bit to think about. Sunday started with no wind at all and then a little sunshine to make it a perfect day to shoot - so no excuse to miss any then?? Two people took good advantage of that: J Matthewson shot 100/295, his first 100 straight and S Eley shot 100/294, his first 100 straight as well and that also made him this year’s winner. Well shot Steve, well deserved. Our thanks go to Mick and Karen for having us and making it an enjoyable day and also to the hard working staff behind the scenes - thank you all. Those winning a County Team place are listed here, the Intercounties DTL shoot is Sunday 23rd August at Nottingham.
